Here’s what nobody tells you about Travel:

Sometimes your worst nightmare becomes your best story.

I was supposed to stay at the Bvlgari Hotel Milan for 3 nights. I ended up staying for 7- not because I love Italy (I do but that’s beside the point), but because I did not get my bag.

The suitcase that arrived? Nike sneakers and Zara basics. Naturally.

The bag that did not come? Every single outfit I’d carefully curated for my Italian trip + ALL my handbags.. yep, the ONE, literally ONE time I decided to check it in instead of my carry on 😭

So instead of a stylish Milan week, I found myself in the lobby of the first-ever Bulgari hotel wearing airport athleisure, watching men and women glide in Loro Piana around me.. case in point👇🏻👀

I guess my extended stay actually turned out to be the best way to review the hotel in depth.. over a frothy cappuccino ofc because I do my best work on caffeine.. preferably in Italy ;)

Hermès basically admits you CANNOT just buy a Birkin or Kelly.

First you need to “build a relationship,” pick up a couple silk scarves, maybe some Orans (in two colors ofc), a Kelly belt, a Clic H bracelet, a cashmere throw for a house you don’t own, H cushions no one is allowed to sit on, and THEN buy a 6-piece Passifolia dinnerware set for dinner parties you absolutely do not host- just to maybe, possibly, be considered for a bag.

The Base Is The Entire Look

What I’ve realised is that almost none of makeup matters if the base isn’t right.

I’ve had my makeup done professionally many times over the years, and I kept noticing one common theme:

They barely use foundation.

Most of it is literally just skin prep.

After a point I started recognising the same steps and similar products not just on me, but across celebrity “Get ready with me” videos online. Different faces but same routine: Build the skin first.

Ok, this isn’t a gym. It’s was what is still called an “Indoor sporting club”.. very 1980s secret wellness club in New York city vibes.

The first morning I walked in, I genuinely felt like I had stepped into an 80s Wall Street movie mixed a wellness wing out of The Crown.

What struck me immediately was the crowd.

People were dressed simply but so classy- crisp robes, neat shorts, all-white tennis gear. I saw ZERO colors except white for the whole week! 😅

There were no automated doors, receptionists with ipads, like ZERO aesthetic “influencer” modern day branding.

Just old marble, vintage silver showers, real metal locker keys- and a crowd that naturally embodied what the internet now calls “Quiet Luxury.”

Winter coat season is here, and this one is worth a closer look…

Baby pink x chocolate brown shearling, with a belt in a slightly lighter shade of bronze- like a tan.

It’s cow-print, sleeveless and cinched at the waist with a brown leather belt giving structure to the fur.

I bought it from NYC last winter and worn it a few times already!

Back home, winters don’t reach US/ Europe levels of cold, but Delhi does make a strong case for long coats until March beginning at the very least!

And honestly? The current season feels even better for coats like this- richer textures, longer lengths, belts, and anything that looks stylish while keeping you warm.

Hi guys,

Over the weekend, I wore a little black dress.. actually scratch that- a little midnight-blue & black dress.

A fringe that draped across my stomach. See-through on the sides. Long sleeves and fully covered (like literally not even my chin was visible🥰) but still kinda sexy.

I also did my own glam bc beauty and fashion go hand-in-hand right?

On a personal note, my complexion is wheat-ish (right between fair and dark I would say) and after testing way too many lipsticks from a ton of diff brands, I finally found a nude 3-step combo that is neutral and just works.

Hi everyone- I wanted to share a little skincare update, especially for those of you who are as obsessive about a good face mask as I am.

I went a little overboard at the French pharmacy during my last visit and honestly:

It was one of the most high-performing posts on Touristy Luxe.

The response to my previous skincare post was unbelievable- the sheer volume of conversions showed me that women will pay, with ZERO hesitation, for someone to cut through the noise and tell them the best products directly.

So.. I just had to do it again and unlike last time, I did something different.

This time, instead of relying on my own research, I asked the head pharmacist at CityPharma (the best pharmacy tbh: save this store if you’re going to Paris) for their recommendations, specifically their :

Absolute no.1 face mask.

I literally said,

“I’m not huge on facials, but I take my at-home routine seriously. Just give me the best face mask you have. I want something I can use regularly and is the best for hydration/ aging/ pigmentation and just does the job.”

I use masks at least twice a week, and I’m quite loyal once I find something that works- and this product genuinely resets my skin in under 10 mins.

(PS. I had never even HEARD of this brand before?!! I bet you haven’t either and it’s available globally and it’s quite reasonably priced actually)

Last week was all about my stay at the famous Six Senses in Ibiza.

Ok, so Six Senses Ibiza doesn’t market itself as a “traditional Ayurvedic hotel” or anything- Six Senses Vana in India is more of that vibe but the Ayurvedic way of living is very VERY real here- even if its located in one of the biggest party spots in the world!

Talking to holistic teachers from all over the world, and learning the “Eat With Six Senses” food philosophy was eye-opening for me.

I learnt from some of the highest-paid Ayurvedic minds from all over the world. These are people whose clients often pay hundreds of $$$ for a single session.

I spent the past weekend at a private wellness club in NYC and I’ll admit- it’s one of the first times in all my years of traveling that I wanted to take the experience home with me.

Normally, I’m adaptable. I slip into hotels, spas, gyms, whatever the city offers, without needing my own routine.

But walking out of this wellness club, I caught myself thinking: I need a private bath cave the minute I wake up.

Infact, Kim Kardashian documented an entire ice plunge session on her Instagram story here, and TBH, it looked like a less-than-relaxing experience.

And yet, her videos had me intrigued so OBV I just had to go and try the whole thing myself :p

Somewhere between shivering in the tub and warming back up in the sauna, I realized how different this was from the wellness I’ve known in Delhi or in luxury hotels around the world.

I just spent the past week in one of the most private resorts in the Italian Alps and I need to talk about it- because this wasn’t just a hotel stay. It was an experience.

Umm yeah I wrote this issue looking at this exact view guys.. Talk about inspiration.

Okay. Let me give you some context:

This was a totally last-minute trip- I was in Venice with my entire family. None of us had ever done the Dolomites before. Zero planning. Just a dinner table debate that ended in: “Should we just try the Italian Alps” ???

Honestly, I’d never even heard of this property until the past week- probably because it’s one of those if you know, you know places.

It’s not all over Instagram (yet), it’s not part of a big hotel chain, and it’s tucked so deep in the mountains that unless someone close personally tells about it, you’d never know- ALTHOUGH it was fully sold out when we went, so those who know KNOW.

A friend mentioned it, and the photos looked like something out of a luxury wellness Pinterest board, so we booked it.

Getting here was NOT easy (you def need a plan- all the details given below), but once we got there… I was stunned.

I’ve done the Swiss Alps, I’ve done Aspen/ Utah, and I’ve done my fair share of “remote luxury”..

But this one?.. This hotel was different.

Since I posted a few stories on my IG, I’ve been getting nonstop DMs asking me:

• Where are you?

• How do you get there?

• Are the food/ ambience/views really that good?

• Is it pricey?

• Are the Dolomites worth the trip?

So here’s what I decided: I’m putting all the honest details- The property, the exact room, the spa treatments, the water they serve, the vibe, the food, the altitude headache moment- everything.
