Umm what would've happened if something went wrong up there? What was the back up plan? To convene a kumbaya circle and sing Katy Perry's greatest hits?
Ok this is all very inspiring stuff but we HAVE to point out that:
This photo below is what a REAL female astronaut looks like. Dual Physics & Engineering degree from MIT AND Stanford after years of rigorous training. These women are celebrities going up for a 10-minute joy ride in LOW orbit. They are not part of the "Crew". That's like someone visiting a water park and calling them a NAVY SEAL lmao
Like are you part of the crew when you fly on a Delta plane across the country 😅???

Our Thoughts💡:
Honestly after seeing the 10 inches of professional make up and electric blue designer suits, this should have been nothing more than a single paragraph on page 20 of the Entertainment section of Monday's newspaper
Education 📚 : Harvard faculty sues Trump.
Harvard is suing the Trump administration to block nearly $9 billion in federal funding cuts.
The move follows an investigation into alleged antisemitism on US college campuses.
We'll be honest💡: This whole Harvard funding- whether its from the government/parents/donors/ alumni has gotten a bit out of control 👋
@Parents, PLEASE stop dropping $ of dollars to get your preppy kid into Harvard.
"Meet Emily, the overachieving Harvard junior who wakes up at 5 am to meditate, runs a fintech startup, and manages a perfectly curated Instagram filled with latte art and #GirlBoss captions.
She'll drop words like 'synergy' and 'blockchain' into casual conversations, all while scrolling through TikTok for 'quick productivity hacks.'
And OFCOURSE, she's on the rowing team, has a perfectly color-coded Notion page, and somehow still finds time to debate climate change on her podcast."
Oh, and she has ZERO friends whatsoever.. DUH
Harvard argues the actions are “unlawful” and threaten academic freedom and free speech.
Other universities like Columbia, NorthEastern and Princeton are also facing funding threats after last year’s Israel-Palestine campus protests.
Key Highlights, reported by The Wall Street Journal:
-Harvard filed the federal lawsuit on April 11, 2025
-The lawsuit claims the decision violates the First Amendment
-The administration is scrutinising $255.6 million in contracts and $8.7 billion in multi-year grant commitments to Harvard
-To maintain federal funding, the Trump administration has demanded that Harvard eliminate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs, ban masks at campus protests, and cooperate with law agencies
-Harvard professors argue that these demands are coercive, aiming to suppress negative speech and impose political views- hence, threatening the university's independence
Our Thoughts💡:
Truth be told, most universities like Harvard and Yale have ENOUGH endowments (even after the federal cuts) to withstand the pressure and welcome preppy over-achieving seniors lining to enter those hallowed halls next year.
Also, 80% would be legacies that can afford to spend the extra bucks to get in. They're probably spending the summer playing polo while managing their family fund, which given the S&P, might not be crushing it right now but its just a matter of time before they ride the bull 📉
Food 🥩 : It's all about Beef tallow this year.
Beef tallow is trending among health-conscious consumers and restaurant chains looking to ditch seed oils.
Known for its rich flavor and clean label appeal, it’s being hyped as a better alternative.
Beef tallow is not just going viral in the kitchen but also among skincare routines globally. Here's why it's trending:
🥩 1. Food
Healthier Alternative: Restaurants are switching beef tallow for frying, aiming to enhance taste and move away from seed oils.
Influential People: Wellness advocates, including Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., are promoting it as a healthier option compared to seed oils, though experts do caution against its high saturated fat.
💄 2. Skincare Trend
Natural Moisturizer: On Instagram & Tiktok, influencers claim it's a natural remedy for dry skin, citing its hydrating properties
Experts: Dermatologists warn that tallow can clog pores and may not be suitable for acne-prone skin
📈 3. Culture:
Ancestral Appeal: The trend aligns with a broader movement embracing traditional, less processed products
Market Growth: Online interest in beef tallow has surged, with search volume increasing by 267% over the past year
Our Thoughts💡:
We hate to break it to you guys but beef tallow is just right-wing coconut oil
Health 🇯🇵 : Japan is home to some of the world’s healthiest children, CNBC reports.
According to UNICEF, among 41 developed countries in the EU and the OECD, Japan is the only country where less than 1 in 5 children are overweight.
No Mickey Ds
Here’s what Japanese parents do differently, reported by CNBC:
1. They implement shokuiku early.
-Japanese doctors often encourage expecting mothers to stick to a well-balanced meal style called “ichijū-sansai.”
-This meal consists of rice and miso soup, accompanied by a protein, and two vegetables (like seaweed or mushroom).
-In 2005, the government passed the 'Basic Act on Shokuiku' to promote shokuiku.
2. They encourage bento boxes:
-Over 95% of Japanese kids have a school lunch system. Meals are planned by nutritionists, and students take an active part in the lunch serving process.
-Homemade bento lunches can play an important role in daily nutrition.
3. They cook food in batches:
Parents prepare nutritious foods in batches to simplify daily meals
They leave a small portion of meals for later, if they are short of fresh produce at home
4. They opt for water or tea instead of soda.
This sets healthy eating habits well into childrens' future and restricts calorie-intake too.
