What are the odds that since I’ve been in NYC and writing out all these Gossip Girl-inspired posts, I’d actually run into Lily Bass over my morning coffee yesterday??
A run-in that then became about about fashion, the show, and her ridiculously chic sense of style!
PS. She was so kind & graceful, and had such amazing energy! 🙌🏻
So there I was, grabbing my usual Panini and coffee at my favorite cafe and who do I literally run into?
Kelly Rutherford aka.. the OG mom. And honestly, it felt like a scene straight out of a Gossip Girl reboot. Classic New York moment, no notes needed.. You can prob tell by my expression from the one photo the Barista managed to take! 😅
-Ok, so what was she wearing?
I told her I run a fashion newsletter so we vibed and I got all the juice for you guys! Very quiet luxury by the way!
(PS. Those of us that grew up in the Gossip Girl era are now at an age where while we might always look upto Serena or Blair, we can’t ignore the iconic mom that Lily was right?)
