️Quick Bites :
Restaurants 🍔 : With a heavy blow to the food service industry globally, what is the future of restaurants in 2021 and beyond?
Even as things are starting to feel somewhat "normal", things will be different. Very different.
Restaurant design in itself will evolve to become "virus-resistant"from sliding doors to booths to contactless QR codes.
Why even go.. By the time this pandemic is over, we should be qualified Culinary experts the way we been binging cooking shows on Hulu
However, these virus-proof designs have way more advantages than just controlling transmission tbh.
We, for one, love the idea of porky kids slurping noisily with their mouth open to be atleast 10ft away from us
Key Trends for the Future of the Restaurant Industry, by Forbes:
💡Winner Winner Chicken Dinner! Chicken Wings seem to the hottest menu item in a post-Covid world.
We're witnessing tons of brands enter the category from Neighborhood Wings by Applebee's to Smokey Bones' The Wing Experience.
The dish also requires simple equipment that kitchens already have making it easy and cost-effective.
Plus, who doesn't like Chicken wings? It's that fiery and buttery all-American snack that pairs perfectly with lots and lots of BBQ sauce. or Beer
💡Automation: Robots can help create social distancing between humans. Imagine a shiny white Covid-free robot gliding across the dining area floor to serve you.
From preparing everything from fresh sourdough to flippin' burgers, Robots are the second hottest item in restaurants.
💡Value offerings: Chains like Taco Bell and Wendy's are pushing hard on their 'value for money' branding and even Burger King has brought back it's dollar menu.
💡With summer approaching, Outdoor dining will become even bigger- at least for those who can afford the space.
💡Motion-sensor faucets, foot pulls on doors and hand dryers instead of paper towels. QR codes for menus are already normal at this point.
💡Breakfast will return. About 60% of workers are expected to be back in the office by the end of Q1, according to recent data. This means employees will return to lengthy commutes and their quick grab-and-go Egg McMuffins.
Our Thoughts💡: Sure, we could change every single restaurant for the next godforsaken pandemic or (wait for it) .. We could hold the Federal Government responsible instead to ensure one is never handled so miserably again, and not put the onus on small business owners.
What say..?

The Royals 👑 :Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sat down for an exclusive and much-awaited interview with Oprah Winfrey on Sunday.
Oh honey, an American just spilled British tea.. again ️
Hope everybody tuned in, if only to throw your remote at the television lmao
Oprah just woke up one day and thought "You know what, I'm bored of this pandemic. Lemme take down the Queen."
Let's be honest guys: America has a Queen and her name is Oprah Winfrey. We don't make the rules 🤷♀️
Key Highlights:
💡Meghan says biggest regret over royal life was "believing I would be protected"
💡Meghan Markle had 'clear suicidal thoughts' but was rejected mental help
💡There were royal concerns over color of baby Archie's skin
💡Prince Harry claimed the Royals 'literally cut him off financially'
💡Prince Charles stopped taking Harry's calls
💡Kate Middleton made Markle cry but "reversed" the narrative
Kate, a white woman, made Meghan, a bi-racial woman, cry and get shamed for something that wasn't her fault.
And Kate got zero hate for it. Sounds just about white
Piers Morgan, on the other hand, called the interview "vile destructive self-serving nonsense" and "a disgraceful betrayal of the Queen"
Our Thoughts💡: Meghan Markle. First of her name. Duchess of Sussex. Protector of Diana's legacy. The breaker of monarchies.
All that's left to unleash are the dragons 🐉
We hope the couple name their daughter Diana so we can watch the monarchy collapse in real time
Food 🥡 : Food delivery company Deliveroo has chosen London over New York for it's $7bn stock market listing.
Chancellor hails it as a 'British tech success', especially at a time where the UK has received increasing criticism for missing out on technology companies.
While the NASDAQ boasts of Big Tech valuations of Zoom and Netflix, the FTSE 100 is known to still be hacking with century-old names like Barclays and Tesco.
From it's first order in 2013 to going public 8 years later- a well-deserved milestone for the London-based unicorn.
The decision to debut on the London Stock Exchange allows the capital to increase it’s status as a lucrative trading and investment hub.
Our thoughts💡: Having a bath while we wait for our Deliveroo is an extreme sport
Wildlife 🌊 : Glow up Alert! Scientists discover first-ever Glow-in-the-dark Sharks lurking in New Zealand, National Geographic reports.
These shimmering sharks have been found in the deep sea waters of New Zealand and possess the property of 'bioluminescence', which allow them to illuminate.
Wow, there's so much yet to learn about our marvelous planet. Seeing a razzmatazz shark would be outrageously cool 🦈
The three species found were: The Blackbelly Lanternshark, The Southern Lanternshark and the Kitefin Shark.
Fun Fact💡 : These sharks can actually hide their shadow. As per the report, these sharks have glowing underbellies, which they use to protect themselves against predators.
They generate a soft blue-green light with specialized cells in their skin, allowing them to camouflage their presence in the water.
The Kitefin Shark in particular, is the World's Largest Known Bioluminous Vertebrae, at 6 feet in length (shown below).
We want to be a luminous vertebrae 🦈
Our Thoughts💡 : Ok, Wildlife researchers, it's exciting enough sharks glow in the dark. Y'all don't need to go around exaggerating their length as compared to mid-20th century poets.
