Diet Coke & Wimbledon🎾
This Week in Review☕️: Aspartame hurts soda giants like Coca Cola | Tesla reveals first electric Cybertruck | Carlos Alcaraz takes center court | Tennis fans enthralled by Mens Final | Hollywood strike
Quick Bites:
Health🥤: Aspartame fears to hurt soda business.
Aspartame, the world's most common artificial sweetener found in low-calorie sodas like Diet Coke, was labelled "as a possible carcinogen" last Thursday by the World Health Organization.
Wait, didn't we all already know aspartame was unhealthy and were just whatever about it?
Like we vaguely remember being 18 and putting Splenda in our tea and people were like "watch out for aspartame" 😉😉
Breaking News💡: "Aspartame possibly causes cancer yet safe at common levels"
Trust our science, says the WHO
Umm.. there is zero "science" that supports it causes cancer. We mean, unless you're having 50 packets of Equal and 20 Diet Pepsis a day, you'll prob stay alive
PS. You guys should've already learnt during Covid, the ONLY kind of science the WHO knows about is political science🖕🏻
According to CNBC, diet drinks have become a significant part of beverage companies' portfolios, making up a quarter of sales.
Today, aspartame is found in almost all household low-calorie beverages from Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Pepsi Zero Sugar and Diet Mountain Dew.
This new research could "scare away diet soda drinkers."
Our Thoughts💡: To be fair, large quantities of anything can be dangerous but small amounts can be harmless.
Meeting for 1 drink with a friend is fun. But getting bolloxed on 8 drinks, 5 shots, 2 bottles of wine and a 3-day hangover on the other hand.. 🙄🙄
HOWEVER, it is important to note: Not eating all day so you can get sozzled in 2 beers is called Financial Health. LOOK IT UP 🔍
Automobiles🚗 : Tesla builds its first electric Cybertruck.
Prices for the truck will range from $39,900 to $69,900 depending on the range consumers want.
Ok y'all, this is full-on Iron Man status out here. Elon Musk bringing his futuristic Tony Stark energy one highway at a time. The most powerful vehicle on Planet Earth (and later on Mars)🙌🏻
Personally, it's the wild matte color scheme that excites us🔌
Everytime you operate those Tesla black controls that are labelled in black on black leather seats, a little black light lights up black to let you know you've made it 💣
The first Cybertruck was built in Austin, Texas and is here nearly four years after the company debuted it's first prototype.
The Cybertruck allows Tesla to enter an electric SUV market that includes competitors like Ford and Rivian.
CEO Elon Musk stated he wants to produce 250,000 trucks this year, Reuters reports.
Our Thoughts💡:
Current Mood: A home to match our Tesla Cybertruck👇🏻 ;)
