Food 🍔 : McDonald's to test McPlant Burger made with Beyond Meat in the US next month.
The collab ALL vegans been waiting for 🙏
Meanwhile, McD employees at the drive thru watching our Subaru pull up for our 4th Quarter Pounder today 👇🏻🙈
Starting November 3, you can expect the McPlant in Texas, Cedar Falls, Iowa, Louisiana and California.
The meat-free patty’s ingredients include peas, rice and potatoes, and the McPlant burger will include mayonnaise and a slice of American cheese, according to McDonald’s.
The plant-based foods market is set to hit $162bn by the next decade. The current value of the market is $29.4bn, Bloomberg Intelligence reports.
An increasing number of food chains are adding vegan items on the menu as consumers cite the negative effects of eating meat- on their own health as well as on the environment.
Our Thoughts💡: We get that cigarettes, booze, dope etc can be considered "bad" but is eating meat really a sin?!
Personally, we love a boldly seasoned, crispy, marinated all-white chicken patty + a slice of pepperoni... Sue us.
Culture 🧸 : "Blue for Boys, Pink for Girls." Gender stereotypes has been a long running debate.
But the fact is- Not all girls like pink.. or lipstick.
And not all boys like blue or cars.
The Lego Group plans to remove gender bias from its toys, in hopes to build a more inclusive society.
Now on Lego.com, customers cannot search for products by gender. Instead, the website offers themes that it calls “passion points”.
Ok.. so how will the blocks stick together without the male and female pieces? 🙄
The Danish toymaker commissioned a global survey that showed 71% of boys feared they'd be made fun of for playing with "girls toys"- a fear also shared by their parents, The Guardian reports.
"70% of boys responded"? How old were these boys? 4?5?..6? C'mon y'all, some credibility
Our Thoughts💡: Large businesses often begin with sincerity. Then everyone wants a Lego Batman House and that's when sh*t gets complicated.
PS. You can't jump on this LGBQT train if all you sell is colored blocks. What the hell is so sexist about colored blocks..?!
It's not that complicated. It's.a.damn.toy.

Art 🖼 : Christie's is set to auction Basquiat's monumental 'The Guilt of Gold Teeth' in New York this November.
Made when Basquiat was just 22-years old, bidding for the masterpiece will start at around $40mn, although an estimate is only available upon request.
💡Christies: Price upon request only
💡Us: We know an effing fortune when we see one 👇🏻
Key Highlights from ArtNews:
💡The Guilt of Gold Teeth was made in 1982- an era of the artist's career considered most valuable to art dealers to collectors
💡The black-clad figure with a skull for a face refers to Baron Samedi (considered to be associated with death)
💡The painting also symbolizes Basquiat's rising prominence; the word "ASPURIA" has been painted (which means "to aspire") on the top left
The painting "represents an absolutely pivotal moment in Basquiat's career," and was made as the artist was undergoing "a cultural reckoning with his own identity as a Black American"

Festive Season 🎄 : One of the UK's biggest toy retailers says there might be shortages this Christmas, BBC reports.
House of Spells, which specializes in Harry Potter merchandise, said they are "running out of stock".
These issues are due to port delays as most of these goods are imported from Asia.
Other toy store owners said demand for popular toys will soon "outstrip availability."
Barbie dolls and Paw Patrol toys are among kids favourites he expects to sell out fast.
Hamleys, however, assured shoppers, that it's well stocked for the festive season and will not face any shortage.
God Bless Hamleys
It's not just toys.. The time-honored tradition of eating ourselves into a Festive FoodComa might take a hit too!
The UK's 20-year binge on cheap food is coming to an end, according to the country's biggest chicken producer.
Shoppers can expect the price of chicken by +10% due to rising costs.
Our Thoughts💡: A shortage of consumer junk for Christmas is an unparalleled good.
We'll admit it would be a cruel detox during the festive season but it would do WONDERS for the waistline!
Case in point💡: We're still recovering from the Pumpkin Pie last Christmas that made us hibernate until.. well, right about, now 🙈
