In addition, Fast-food prices have surpassed the overall rate of inflation.
Chains such as Chipotle are passing these costs to customers, especially in the US, where the minimum wage has increased to $20 an hour.
In addition, brands like KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut, reported lower Q1 earnings than expected, as consumers are being more careful about their spending.
Guess we're done eating our body weight in fried chicken 🍗

Just checked our bank account. Gonna have a deep breath for dinner tonight 😫
Fashion 👛: Uniqlo's "Millennial Birkin" is the new designer bag.
Uniqlo's Round Mini Shoulder bag, has become one of the retailer’s best-selling products, causing shortages.
A crossbody bag that fits a 200-page book, a large water bottle, keys, a phone, a wallet and headphones has been coined as the "Millennial Birkin".
Umm what does this $20 bag say about shoppers right now? We're broke and carrying a ton of baggage
Gen Z is obsessing over the lightweight, functional bag, which has become more appealing than the iconic Hermes birkin, The NY Post reports.
Turns out the younger generation prefers comfort and functionality above all.
Ok we're gonna be honest guys:
When we drop $$$ on a material good, it′s spending $ out of YOUR wallet into THEIRS. That's why 'THEY' live in oceanfront mansions and you don't (Unless you're a trustfund baby with cash to blow ofc)
It's all about the mindset. If you have high self-esteem and don't require external validation, do you really NEED a Hermes Matte Niloticus Himalayan Crocodile Birkin for $100K..?! 💭💭💭 Palladium hardware ofc.
Think carefully and answer ladies 🫢
Uniqlo’s marketing team has capitalized tremendously on social media content.
The goal is to market products that are aligned with Uniqlo’s philosophy of designing, “simple, high-quality, everyday products with a practical sense of beauty", The NY Post reports.
Big Tech 📱: Apple finalizes deal with OpenAI to use ChatGPT on the iPhone, Bloomberg reports.
OpenAI’s technology would be integrated into the iOS 18, Apple’s next operating system. The deal is a step towards adding AI features to Apple devices.
Apple also held talks with Google about using Gemini.
In addition, the move will allow the company to upgrade Siri, Apple's virtual assistant, enabling it to chat instead of answering individual questions.
Speaking of Siri..
Siri does our poodle know we're cleaning out his eye boogers or does he think we just like poking him in the corneas for fun every morning..?!
HONEST question 🙋
The potential integration of ChatGPT on the iPhone could provide users with more intuitive and context-aware AI-driven experiences, adding value to the overall Apple ecosystem, Bloomberg reports.
Damn, Tim Cook transforming the company in all directions.. Apple currently has over $150 billion in cash on hand. That's enough to buy one Mcdonalds Cheeseburger.
With a side of fries and a Pepsi- oh and a small island to enjoy it on 😎
Automobiles 🚗 : Tesla to spend $500 million on chargers.
Tesla is planning to spend "well over" half a billion dollars to expand its electric-vehicle charging network this year, CEO Elon Musk said.
This comes just days after the company axed most of the team that built the charging network, alongside laying off over 14,000 workers, according to Bloomberg.
Musk claims Tesla must be "absolutely hard core about headcount and cost reduction", according to an email seen by The Information.
The move has left other EV makers "confused" after losing "their main points of contact in Tesla’s charging unit shortly before the kickoff of the busy summer driving season", Bloomberg reports.
Meanwhile, oil giant BP is looking to enter the electric-car charging space. The company plans to spend $1 billion by 2030 to install 3,000 charging locations across the US.
Umm BP entering the EVs is like watching your great granddaddy trying to boogie to a TikTok dance 🕺🕺
It's weird, unexpected, cringe and TOTALLY terrifying, but you gotta give em' credit for trying right? Gotta remind people you exist 💯
