Ben & Jerry's, Hershey's, Starbucks & Magnum- What do they have in common? They are all boycotting Facebook Ads due to the platform's "repeated failure to meaningfully address hate on its platforms".
While a one month halt of suddenly being bombarded with an image of gooey Chocolate-Chip Cookie Dough on your feed, will likely prove insignificant- it does provide a wake-up call for Big Tech.
The #StopHateforProfit campaign is yet another avalanche in The Zuck's reputation which is already in the gutter amidst endless controversies.
But his response?

Zuckerberg decides Not to Change Policy on Hate Speech amid the nationwide #StopHateforProfit campaign.
"We're not gonna change our policies or approach on anything because of a threat to a small percent of our revenue, or to any percent of our revenue," said Zuckerberg.
“My guess is that all these advertisers will be back on the platform soon enough.” according to The Information.
