The suit, filed by UCLA last week, alleges that the deal had become "too expensive" for the sportswear brand amidst other financial troubles such as a federal probe into the company's accounting practices, CNN reports.
UCLA also claimed UA was using the pandemic as an excuse to exit the contract.
