Quick Bites:
Consumer Goods 🍼 : Baby formula shortage gets worse, sparking panic in parents across the US.
Folks already have to deal with higher food prices, unreal inflation, a choppy stock market, unchecked illegal immigration, sky-high electricity bills and a proxy war in Europe. And to top it off, no baby formula in their local CVS?!
Thanks, Joe 👋
40%-50% of major formula brands were sold out last week in 26 states. The state hit hardest was San Antonio at 56%.
The shortage caused major retailers like Walmart, Walgreens, Target and CVS to place limits on how much shoppers can buy at one time, Fox Business reports.
Our Thoughts💡: Under Biden's America in 2022, it is easier to abort babies than to feed them.

Work 💻 : Airbnb leads WFH revolution.
While companies like Google are demanding employees return to the office, atleast part-time, Airbnb just announced that its 6,000 employees can work remotely from any location.. without a paycut.
Yep, you heard that right. Sweatpants have become the official work uniform! 🧦
Personally, we didn't need a global pandemic to witness the end of the corporate dream.
As soon as Brooks Brothers' bankruptcy filing in 2020, it was clear to us that yoga pants + Netflix + homemade açai bowls killed GenZ-ers long before Covid hit town!
Key highlights from CEO Brian Chesky:
💡You can work from home or the office- whatever employees prefer
💡You have the flexibility to live and work in 170 countries for up to 90 days a year in each location
💡Compensation to remain unchanged
Here's the catch. Airbnb's home-rental business can grow if more companies let workers become jet-setting digital nomads.
Our Thoughts💡: Personally, we believe remote work paranoia is a ploy by the GenZ workforce to permanently work from home, crash the economy and elect Bernie Sanders.. just sayin' 🙈
The BIGGEST con of going back to the office: We'd have to start wearing pants again. FML
Food 🥛 : 49% of Gen Z is "ashamed" to order milk in public, says dairy giant Arla.
Arla recently launched its “Don’t Cancel the Cow” campaign in an effort to convince younger consumers to reconsider dairy, Vegan News reports.
Key findings from new research carried out by UK-based Arla:
💡55% of Gen Z participants rely on social media to inform their decisions
💡57% plan to give up dairy in the next year
💡29% even admitted to only ordering dairy alternatives when in public, reverting to their favored choice of dairy when in the comfort and privacy of their own homes
"75% of the UK are concerned for the future of the world we live in. But the rise in cancel culture is playing too much of an influence in the way that we make decisions relating to our diets.”
-Arla
Our Thoughts💡: Ok, so we can't drink, smoke, get high or eat Brie now?!
Lets just suck all the joy outta life and wait for Omicron BA.2 to take us all out tf
Also, is consuming dairy really a "sin"?! What's with the judgement?
Personally, we dig a Croque Monsieur with buttered Texas toast, fried egg, smoked ham, mild provolone and cheddar. A goey, melty ball of cheesy, meaty goodness.. 😍👇🏻
Russia-Ukraine 🇺🇦 : Russian President Vladimir Putin celebrated Victory Day on May 9th but made no major announcements, only defending the war in a "defiant" speech, NY Times reports.
The world feared Putin would use the occasion to officially declare war.
Key Highlights:
💡Over the weekend, First Lady Jill Biden and Canadian PM Justin Trudeau made separate trips to Ukraine.
💡President Biden and G7 leaders recommitted their support to Zelenskyy on Sunday, including agreeing to phase out or ban the import of Russian oil
💡The United Nations wants Odesa's port reopened to help ease a "looming" global food crisis
Biden is expected to sign a new weapons package worth atleast $100mn for Ukraine, according to Reuters.
Since the start of the invasion on February 24th, the US has provided $3.4bn worth of armaments to Ukraine, including howitzers, anti-aircraft Stinger systems, anti-tank Javelin missiles, ammunition and recently-disclosed ‘Ghost’ drones, Reuters reports.
Our Thoughts💡: No closed airspace, No fast-track European Union membership, No Ukrainian NATO alliance, No tougher stance on Putin.
Despite governments interfering, the truth is that the mighty west has folded in the face of aggression faster than Hitler in 1939. Never again my a** 👋
