This Week in Review💡: SpaceX launches 6 year mission | Pringles x Caviar collaboration goes viral on social media | Disneyland increases prices as it still recovers from pandemic shutdown | Halloween
This painting sold for $8 million and everyday investors profited.
When the painting by master Claude Monet (you may have heard of him) was bought for $6.8 million and sold for a cool $8 million just 631 days later, investors in shares of the offering received their share of the net proceeds.
All thanks to Masterworks, the award-winning platform for investing in blue-chip art. Masterworks does all of the heavy lifting like finding the painting, buying it, storing it, and eventually selling it. To date, every one of its 16 sales out of its portfolio has returned a profit to investors.
With over 840,000 users, shares of offerings can sell out in just minutes. But Touristy readers can skip the waitlist to join with this exclusive link.

Quick Bites:
Space 🚀: And lift off! SpaceX's Falcon Heavy rocket lifted off on Friday, successfully launching NASA's mission for a distant asteroid.
The Falcon Heavy is carrying a NASA spacecraft "about the width of a tennis court" that's expected to reach an asteroid called "Psyche".
Surely after the week we've had, there are people far more deserving of the $$$ spent on the mission than a Tony-Stark-wannabe who just spent the GDP of several countries on a privatized space race?
One of the richest men in the world but spending his money to solve problems in space when tragedy is occuring on Earth day after day.. 🙈
Bc nothing says "Save the planet" than entering a pissing contest with billionaires while a real 21st century genocide is taking place as we speak, right?
PS. From a global pandemic and lockdown to World War III possibilites in just 10 days.. Life keep hitting from all angles until something sticks😩😩
Key Highlights, according to CNBC:
💡This is a 6 year and 2.2 billion miles mission
💡The spacecaft is expected to arrive to the asteroid Psyche in July 2029
💡The cost is around $1.2 billion, out of which NASA has paid SpaceX $131 million to launch the mission
💡NASA wants to study the composition of the asteroid, which the agency describes as “an unusual object likely rich in metal”
Food🍴: You can now eat Pringles like A Real Housewife of Beverly Hills.
Pringles announced a limited-edition collaboration with The Caviar Company, pairing the two snacks together in a swanky package.
Pringles going high-class gourmet on us. Now we can be broke in style 🙏🏻
The limited edition partnership was inspired by a viral TikTok trend, which saw users adding a dollop of caviar onto Pringles. These videos have been viewed more than 10 billion times.
However, unlike a regular can of Pringles which costs around $3 globally, the Pringles x Caviar collab is going to set you back by a little more.
Customers will have three options to choose from, priced at $49, $110 and $140, respectively, CNBC.
Our thoughts💡: On a scale of 1-10, how Rich Housewives is this collab?
"I put the Peloton bike in the kitchen of our $20 million ocean-view loft so I can get a workout and also eat Salted Pringles with a jar of Caviar Co.’s Smoked Trout Roe"
Tackily nouveau riche living in their elite Hamptons homes, complaining about the lack of help, bringing their own toilet paper from the city, and eating $140 fish eggs on crisps 🥂
Yep, that's a no-brainer 10/10 🙄
PS. You rich losers better leave the sturgeons alone. We all know damn well caviar tastes like complete crap. Drop it. 🖕🏻
Also, red caviar? Nah. We could've maybe, MAYBE, seen a nice osetra with crème fraîche and chives. Not feeling the salmon roe 👋🏻
Entertainment 📺 : It's about to get a bit more expensive to experience the magic of the Magic Kingdom.
Prices at Disneyland and Disneyworld are jumping, effective immediately. The parks are increasing prices for passes, including parking and annual tickets.
Yep, happiness ain't free ❌
The parks’ most basic tickets- day passes, will remain unchanged and vary based on the busyness of the date.
The least expensive options:
💡At Disneyland: $104
💡At Disney World: $109
The most expensive ticket- the 'Incredi-Pass' will sell for $1,449, CNBC reports.
Dear @BobIger, we are not millionaires. The magic shouldn't be this expensive 👋🏻
“We are constantly adding new, innovative attractions [..] the value of a theme park visit is reflected in the unique experiences that only Disney can offer.”
Disney recently said it plans to nearly double its investment in its park division as it emerges from shutdowns that devastated the company during the pandemic, CNBC.
Our Thoughts💡: Not sure how we feel about Disney ripping us off..🤔
We remember being so damn happy at Disneyland as kids. Perhaps because Mickey Mouse was suddenly real.. OR because we had the best churros of our life there.
Warm, cinnamon bolts of perfection dipped in sugary glaze.. not to mention the perfect excuse to ghost your folks for a good half-hour 🍯
Hmm.. don't think this price hike gonna cut it for us. Sorry @Disney
