Our Thoughts💡: We’re curious to know.. If any of you could trade places with Warren Buffet, would you? You’d be a multi-billionaire but you’d also be in your 90s.
Buffet is a USD billionaire. We’re Time Billionaires.
Time>Money. So, doesn’t matter where you’re at right now. You start NOW.
Food 🥮: Quiche was the official dish for the coronation of King Charles III. Prices are up 31% this year.
Hmm.. making quiche the 'Official Coronation Dish' sounds like a low-key "We still technically own France" power move
So for his coronation, King Sausage fingers wants us to eat a mountain of cheese and listen to David Bowie. What other unnecessary crap from the 80s does His Majesty want us to do?! Wouldn't be surprised if he got Gary Glitter in for a gig at this point 🤬
With ingredients chosen by Charles III and Queen Camilla, the dish consists of spinach, tarragon, fava beans, eggs and cheddar cheese
Supermarket quiches may have shot up in price, but they’re still likely to be far cheaper than making the Royal recipe at home. With the current food crisis:
💡Cheddar costs 42% more than this time last year
💡Egg prices are up 32%
💡Cream 15%
💡Moreover, parts of the UK have experienced an egg shortage in recent weeks, CNN
Our Thoughts💡: To celebrate the King's coronation, we created a special, in-house royal quiche recipe for y'all to binge on this week:
Ingredients:
💡Hundreds of pounds of dairy and saturated fat
💡Never-ending outdated traditions
💡A RIDICULOUS amount of diamonds
💡Millions of non-recyclable Union Jack plastic flags
Method:
💡Combine ingredients and marinate for hours in front of the British Press for positive media coverage
💡Speed-dial royal experts to trash Meghan
💡Avoid any mention of royal inheritance, tax evasion or Jeffrey Epstein
💡Enjoy, nah.. ENDURE the damn quiche
Pandemic🦠: Covid-19, the virus that claimed 6.9 million lives across the world, is no longer a global health emergency, WHO says.
First things first guys- Congrats for making it till here!🙌🏻
The past 3 years have been unusually weird and most of us gave up trying to make sense of it all. What we did come to sense however, is a feeling of universal gratitude as the world united in such an unpredictable time❤️
On a lighter note, it was the first time in history we had the power to save the human race by watching Netflix and doing nothing- LITERALLY. Can we take the lil wins when we get em' guys?!🙏🏻
While Covid-19 is still out there, it's believed that most of the world has now been infected by it and has therefore, developed immunity.
The milestone marks the end to "one of the most deadly and economically devastating pandemics in modern history," says The Wall Street Journal.
Key Highlights, according to WHO data:
💡There have been +765 million confirmed Covid-19 cases since the start of the pandemic
💡Nearly 7 million people have died
💡Europe has had the most confirmed cases overall, but the US reported the most deaths
💡About 1 in 6 total deaths have been in the US
Today, Covid-19 cases and deaths are the lowest they’ve been in 3 years. Still, more than 3,500 people died in the last week of April and billions remain unvaccinated.
Food🍔: Shake Shack just launched just launched new vegan products to more than 260 locations nationwide.
Starting this May, customers can try the fast-food chain's new, dairy-free Chocolate Custard and Chocolate Shake.
Shake Shack is also expanding the 'Veggie Shack' to its national menu.
This meatless burger- which took FIVE years to develop- consists of mushrooms, sweet potatoes, carrots, farro, and quinoa, and comes topped with American cheese, crispy onions, pickles, and ShackSauce, Veg News reports.
It's now evident that while every burger-chain has their own version of the fast-food staple, 2023 dons a new accessory: A crispy, tender quinoa fillet.
Our Thoughts💡: Just finished a 5-mile in NYC. Ran from our hotel to Central Park and back. Such an exhilarating morning.
Now time for that well-deserved vegan Burger, Milkshake and Fro-yo 😋
