Quick Bites:
Fashion👙: Kim Kardashian is making nipple bras- for a cause.
The planet is heating up at an alarming rate, and it’s everyone’s responsibility to play their role to fight the climate crisis.
That’s why Kim Kardashian is selling nipple bras because "No matter how hot it is, you’ll always look cold."
Umm we're launching boxers with built-in padding
Incase you guys don't get it (totally understandable btw) “The Ultimate Nipple Bra” has built-in, faux nipples, to give the illusion of effects caused by being cold- even during hot weather.
And why would y'all need this? Well, to avoid cranking up the AC, which in turn contributes to global warming🤯
LADIES, only the most important advancement to society since Cheerios and high-speed WiFi🙌🏻
The Skims founder does actually have a philanthropic purpose with her latest product; 10% of proceeds from sales will go to 'One Percent for the Planet', an environmental organisation that encourages donations to globally-conscious causes.
It's giving 'Regina George cut holes in her t-shirt, so I did too" vibes👇🏻
Our Thoughts💡: Was this really a problem that needed an urgent solution?
Hmm.. we're not sure- that's between you and your wallet. But, innovative products to beat the heat? We're here for it 👍
Time to FREE THOSE NIPS. For the sake of the planet, ofcourse.
Finance 💰: Mini-millionaires are growing rapidly.
Many people in the upper middle class are now millionaires due to college, savings, investing early, the power of compounding and good timing, The Wall Street Journal reports.
💡Rich people splurging: F**k it, let's buy a yacht
💡Us splurging: F**k it, we'll order the Nicoise salad
Guys, you don't need to skip your morning avocado toast to save more. You need to skip breakfast and lunch.

Key Highlights, according to WSJ:
💡These mini-millionaires earn between $150,000 and $250,000 a year
💡They wouldn’t typically be considered rich, but upper middle class (This depends where they live though- the same house is worth more in some parts of the country)
💡Over 90% of these families report owning stocks, either directly or through retirement accounts, and 87% own their home.
They benefited extraordinarily from low interest rates and cutting debt payments
Some more stats:
💡The average net worth of American families topped $1 million for the first time, surging 42% from $749,000 in 2019
💡Some 16 million Americans are now considered "true millionaires," compared to just under 10 million in 2019
💡Real average wealth was up 23% over the past 3 years
Our Thoughts💡: All young people want are homes at affordable prices and a great cuppa coffee.
Instead, we got Donald Trump as President, Covid-19, 3 recessions, a global lockdown, a potential WW III and maybe Donald again as President🤬🤬
Health 🌱: Japan is home to some of the world’s healthiest children, CNBC reports.
According to UNICEF, among 41 developed countries in the EU and the OECD, Japan is the only country where less than 1 in 5 children are overweight.
No Mickey Ds
Here’s what Japanese parents do differently, reported by CNBC:
💡They implement shokuiku early.
Japanese doctors often encourage expecting mothers to stick to a well-balanced meal style called “ichijū-sansai.”
This meal consists of rice and miso soup, accompanied by a protein, and two vegetables (like seaweed or mushroom).
In 2005, the government passed the 'Basic Act on Shokuiku' to promote shokuiku.
💡They encourage bento boxes:
Over 95% of Japanese kids have a school lunch system. Meals are planned by nutritionists, and students take an active part in the lunch serving process.
Homemade bento lunches can play an important role in daily nutrition.
💡They cook food in batches:
Parents prepare nutritious foods in batches to simplify daily meals
They leave a small portion of meals for later, if they are short of fresh produce at home
💡They opt for water or tea instead of soda.
This sets healthy eating habits well into childrens' future and restricts calorie-intake too.
Travel ✈️: Airlines are flying high on sales of Premium Economy tickets.
The seats- which cost double of basic economy but half of business class are becoming increasingly popular, especially for overnight and transatlantic flights, WSJ reports.
United Airline says its premium economy cabin is its most profitable, and American, Qantas and Delta are all planning on increasing their number of seats in this category, WSJ.
Around 70% of fliers who book premium economy book it again on future flights, Delta says.
Our Thoughts💡: Funny! 10 years ago "Premium" was considered coach. Today, it's the most-wanted seat on the plane.
Tbh, premium economy is exactly what it sounds like: a leg up from the cramped seats you might see in standard economy class... So, it's definitely an upgrade but nowhere as fancy as business, ofcourse😕.
For frequent fliers looking for that sweet spot somewhere in the middle, with value for money AND comfort, premium economy is the answer🙌🏻
Extra legroom for all tall peeps, priority boarding (albeit at some airports) and better snacks, the extra bucks are worth it folks🍫🍫
