According to a new study, there is a natural oil present in the liver of Sharks called "squalene" that is being considered for use in Covid-19 vaccines 🦈.

The Catch: The oil comes at the expense of mass murder. Conservationists warn that around half a million sharks need to be slaughtered to create an effective vaccine for all.

Our thoughts💡: It's funny how people will happily slaughter chicken, pigs, cows, fish like salmon, tuna etc to hit Nobu for that California Roll  (extra ginger & wasabi, ofc) but then protest against killing sharks.

Killing a species that's already vulnerable in an increasingly fragile marine ecosystem = Disaster.
